This card was made using the Wood Textures designer series paper as the focal point. Though coordinating colors aren’t listed, you just can’t go wrong with most of the brown neutrals to bring out the colors in the wood. I added Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla for accentuating the designer series paper. The sentiment is from Cool Treats, stamped in Early Espresso. The sentiment is layered on top using the Layering Squares Framelits.

The working rescue dog from the Swiss Alps also had jobs in security, breeding and the hunting industry. Very versatile for a dog that is an extra large breed, St Bernard will stand about 28 inches at the shoulder and a full grown one can weigh from 160 to 250 pounds! So the breed has not only been known through history for their ability to serve as rescue dogs but their size makes them famous in the stories of rescue as well. With their wide coffins, thick necks and large heads, these puppies are strong and also hold the world's strength for dogs.

If they are educated when they are young to be socialized and accept people and children, they can do as well as adults. Because of their strength, size and weight, it is important that they are properly trained as puppies. They are keen to please their owners and also thought they cannot be aggressive they will alert visitors and with their size they can certainly be deterrent to unwelcome guests. In a large fenced yard with its own extra large dog house to protect against wind, rain and extreme heat, they can be an effective safety system. A giant like debarking and moving towards someone can surely make them reconsider a home invasion.

As with any pet, proper training helps when they have the place to go. A sign that they need to relax and get their 200 kg bodies out of the way. The people in the house need this, and the dog can benefit from having their own dog house to retire as well. A large fenced yard allows them to stretch and move and then return to the comfort of their own home. They are adorable and devoted but in this way they will be in place to look at the outside of the house and hear some sounds and sheds and throw out for a while.
